Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, has secured the fight rights by offering a record-breaking $41 million purse bid. He comfortably surpassed Eddie Hearn‘s $32 million proposals, verifying a homecoming bout for ‘The Gypsy King’.

Tyson Fury has had his last five fights in the USA. He beat American superstar Deontay Wilder twice in a row to become a modern-day phenomenon and the WBC champion. That said, it’s time to bring it home and defend against Wilder’s counterpart, Dillian Whyte, who is also a terrific knockout artist.

While $41 million is now on the table for both sides, Tyson Fury will take most of it. However, the purse will have a unique split, allowing the winner to add extra fortune. Here’s a look at it.

Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte Purse: How much money are both fighters guaranteed

The split will be 80/20 in favor of Tyson Fury. It means. ‘The Gypsy King’ will take home a whopping $29.5 million. The numbers are pretty close to his $30 million payouts from the Deontay Wilder trilogy. Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte has seen a serious economical surge from his last fight purse.

He reportedly earned $5.4 million from knocking out Alexander Povetkin in their re-match. Now, he has been guaranteed $7.4 million for the WBC championship bout against Tyson Fury. But both fighters can rake these numbers.

Total Payout: How much will they earn from the fight?

According to reports, Fury and Whyte have forfeited a portion of their purse, which the winner will take home. $4.1 million, therefore, will be there on the champion’s side, along with the WBC world championship. If Dillian Whyte can land the upset, he will take home $11.2 million in total. On the contrary, Tyson Fury will bag $33.6 million by successfully defending his belt.
