British boxer Tommy Fury is set to take on Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul on August 6 in his next fight. The bout will take place at Madison Square Garden and has finally come to fruition after the pair were originally scheduled to fight back in 2021.

Both of them will come into this fight with undefeated records of 5-0 for Paul and 8-0 for Fury and looking to add another win to their names. Moreover, Tommy Fury will come into this fight as the favorite to win and his brother WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury certainly thinks that will be the case as he is willing to bet over $ 100,000 on his brother.
Tyson Fury bets on Tommy Fury
The Gypsy King recently appeared in an interview with IFL TV and revealed that he will be backing his brother and is also willing to make a bet on him.
“I’VE GOT £100K WITH ANYBODY. I’LL BE PUTTING IT ON TOMMY” @tysonfury is backing his brother @tommytntfury for victory over @jakepaul in August 💵

He says, “So, I’m backing Tommy. I’ll put my money where my mouth is. I’ve got a 100 grand if anybody I’ll put it on, Tommy and that’s it and that’s it“. The heavyweight champ certainly looks confident that Tommy Fury can overcome Paul as he is willing to bet 100,000 pounds or $ 122,645 on his brother to win.
Will Fury ever come out of retirement?
Tyson Fury had announced that he would retire from the sport after beating Dillian Whyte, knocking him out in the 6th round at Wembley Stadium earlier this year.

The 33-year-old boxer has come out frequently stating that he has no intentions of returning to the ring, however many are still skeptical about The Gypsy King’s plans on staying retired as he is yet to vacate his WBC heavyweight championship.

It seems odd that Fury would consider retirement during this stage of his career as the boxer is currently undefeated and is still not past his prime. Moreover, he has yet to achieve the undisputed champion status as he only holds the WBC title, the other three being in possession of Oleksandr Usyk. This makes it hard for fans and analysts to accept that he would retire right now, but by the looks of it, he is not set to make a return anytime soon.
