Tyson Fury managed to preserve his unblemished record, securing a victory over Francis Ngannou at “The Battle of The Baddest” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The win, however, was far from straightforward. Fury faced adversity with an early knockdown and relentless pressure from Ngannou throughout the bout. He faced several cuts and bruises that made his fans doubtful of his victory in the match. The impact was such that Fury was compelled to reschedule his December 23 bout against Oleksandr Usyk. Ultimately, “The Gypsy King” emerged victorious, clinching a controversial split decision. Despite Fury’s triumph, a significant portion of both professionals and pundits contested the verdict, vehemently disagreeing with the outcome and adding an element of debate to the aftermath of this fiercely contested matchup.

However, there’s a new controversy surrounding the entire fight that has sparked significant controversy once more. This time, the discontent is not about the verdict, though. Fury also took home a sum of $62 million after the fight. Such a surprising revelation has left the fans in awe and they are now getting back at ‘The Gypsy King”.

In a recently uploaded post by Happy Punch on Twitter(formerly known as X), Fury’s insane paycheck was revealed. Considering the fact that Ngannou knocked him down and dominated in the fight, fans found it unfair for Fury to bag such an amount. They did not hesitate to point out this fact and immediately took to the comments section.

“Take me to Saudi” said one user who happens to be an up-and-coming boxer. Surely, anybody would be lured by the attractive sum that the Riyadh fight brought to Fury.

“robbery” said another fan, reiterating the controversial decision.

“That right there is why UFC fighters are starting to switch code just for that kind of payday. Don’t even need to win just need that massive pay. “ Another fan connected the dots and suggested the high pay as the reason for fighters from UFC moving to boxing. Maybe, who knows?

“That’s a lot of money for losing a fight” said a fan who considered Ngannou the real winner and hence, Fury, the loser. Well, this is a personal opinion, as the decision certainly said otherwise.

“£50 Mil to get beat up. Where do i sign up.” Another fan mockingly said that he was willing to receive a thrashing for the sum. He believed that getting ‘beat up’ was all Fury did in the bout.

While Fury has been in the boxing business for a good long while now, let us take a look at how much the debutant Ngannou earned from the fight.
