Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are two Heavyweight boxers who have etched the British boxing legacy in recent times. Not too long ago, Joshua was the unified Heavyweight champion and Fury was the WBC world Heavyweight champion. This landscape gave British boxing the opportunity to schedule an undisputed heavyweight bout between the two British boxers.

However, Joshua lost his title to Oleksandr Usyk back in 2021 but Fury remains in the WBC heavyweight title. And the bout between the two does not have similar stakes as it did two years ago. Meanwhile, Joshua might face Fury but not necessarily Tyson Fury. The cousin of the WBC Heavyweight champion, Hughie Fury, weighs in on a potential clash with Joshua and gives a vehement prediction.

Cousin of Tyson Fury predicts his potential clash with Anthony Joshua

Hughie Fury hails from a boxing family and is a professional boxer himself. He has a record of 26 wins with 3 defeats and 15 knockouts under his belt. Not to mention, he is the cousin of the Heavyweight champion of the world; Tyson Fury. It would not be a surprise for many that he would be confident to defeat Joshua in their potential clash. However, his response was bold and with certainty he mentioned that Joshua would be decimated.

Speaking to Pro Boxing fans, he stated, “Absolutely Blitz him. This is another fight I want. 100%. I want to get this first fighter out of the way, and then the fight I want is Joshua honestly, I believe won’t stand a chance”

“He is a stiff”- Hughie Fury makes his case against his bout with Anthony Joshua

In the same interview, Fury mentioned that there is nothing peculiar about Joshua. He made a claim that the fight would be easy because Joshua is a “stiff” fighter. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “He is a complete stiff altogether. You know, I don’t think there is nothing about him whatsoever, I think he is a stiff and it couldn’t be a easy fight. Let’s see that happens.”
