Tyson Fury has faced a lot of adversity in life, right from going through depression to almost losing his daughter. The ‘Gypsy King’ always knows how to come back from such situations. His inspirational comeback from mental struggles to rise to the top of boxing is quite a story.

Fury is currently training for his trilogy fight against the ‘Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder. The fight has had its share of complications after the Fury camp contracted Covid-19 that postponed the July 24 bout to October 9.

Testing times for Tyson Fury

Ahead of his trilogy fight, Tyson Fury became a father for the sixth time. Paris Fury gave birth to Athena Fury. However, the joy soon turned to grief as they shifted the newborn to the ICU. Subsequently, Fury raised funds to thank the hospital where his daughter was admitted.

Later, his father, John Fury, spoke about how important family was to Tyson. He also revealed that he would cancel the fight if the situation got worse for the Fury family.

“Without family, you can’t function right. Your family has got to be intact, coz if you’re a happy family man and you know things are right at home, you’re gonna perform right yourself… If problems persist, we will cancel the fight. I’ll cancel the fight, coz nobody would expect people to perform under these duress circumstances.”
