Tyson Fury’s Mother Went Under the Knife After Suffering Multiple Strokes & Blood Clot a Week Before Dereck Chisora Trilogy

The World Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has recently won the trilogy bout with Derek Chisora. However, Fury revealed on IFL tv that his mother suffered multiple strokes just a week before the famous fight took place. He also added that his mother had a huge blood clot around the neck area and went through a massive surgery. Fury was at camp at that time and got a phone call from her mother’s side and he left for the hospital without wasting any time.

Fury’s mother used to live a normal and private life. It was just one week left for the “Derek Chisora Trilogy” fight, despite all of this he came to see his mother in the hospital. He won hearts with this gesture.

Tyson Fury’s Mother went through a massive surgery

It was a week before Tyson Fury’s most prestigious fight with Derek Chisora. After winning two times it was his Third chance to win the game. But suddenly everything got shattered when he heard that his mother went under multiple strokes.

Tyson rushed to the hospital to see his mother. He was told that his mother had very slim chance to survive even after this surgery. Fury said, “Your life can be upside down with one call”. He added, “I had a phone call the other day while I was in training camp for Chisora. ‘We didn’t want to tell you but we figured you should know, your mother’s had multiple strokes, she’s been in hospital for 10 days and she’s having a massive operation where there’s a 5/1 chance where she could die’. They asked if I want to come and see her before she goes in, I’m a week away from my fight, one week! So I’m like, ‘what, why haven’t you f***ing told me?’

He also described what happened after reaching the hospital and talking to the doctor, he said, “Doctor said ‘we’ve got to do an emergency operation to remove a blood clot, put a stint in, blood pressure’s through the roof, cholesterol is through the roof, heart rate through the roof”. The doctor also warned him if his mother did not go under surgery to remove the clot she would die and even with that surgery.

Although, his mother went through the surgery, by the grace of god she is in good condition. Fury reached back to camp and the famous ‘Trilogy’ bout took place and everyone knows the result.

It was the third time when two rivals, Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora faced off each other on 3rd December at Tottenham Hotspur boxing ring. It was one of the most anticipated matches of 2022, and with a technical knockdown in the tenth round, Chisora won the bout and defend the title.
