After much speculation, Bob Arum finally spoke about what’s next for Tyson Fury. Fury is coming off a spectacular win in his trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder. Fury is looking for an opponent and is eager to fight early next year. Originally, the WBC set up Dillian Whyte to take on Tyson Fury. However, due to legal hassles, the WBC postponed the fight.

Bob Arum put all the rumors to rest in an interview with talkSPORT, “That is what I would like to see and what he would like to see,” Arum said when the interviewer asked him about the Dillian Whyte fight. “And he wants to do at least three fights in 2022. Hopefully, that is how it will roll out and Fury is ready to fight anybody.

“I really believe that Fury is the pre-eminent heavyweight in the world and there is nobody out there that he would be reluctant to fight. I think Dillian Whyte should be the next fight for Tyson Fury but there is talk about Usyk who beat Joshua, but Joshua is not going to step aside until he is guaranteed the winner of Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk.” Arum also told the interviewer how Fury plans to fight thrice in 2022.

Another option for Fury is to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the title of ‘undisputed’. Usyk currently holds all the other belts in the division after he beat Anthony Joshua in the UK. This fight could prove to be beneficial for ‘AJ’ as well.

Oleksandr Usyk is open to fighting Tyson Fury if Anthony Joshua agrees

Oleksandr Usyk‘s promoter spoke about the champion’s willingness to fight ‘The Gypsy King’. ‘The Cat’ has never been one to back away from a fight. Even during his ‘undisputed’ reign at Cruiserweight, Usyk welcomed every challenge, mowing through the division. He then decided to test his skills in the heavyweight division.

For Anthony Joshua, this fight can make sense. He is currently searching for a new trainer and will need time to adapt and change his fight game if he wants to stand any chance at getting his belts back. If Fury takes on Usyk, Joshua can take on the winner of that fight, giving him ample time to train.

Who do you think Tyson Fury should fight next?
