Henceforth, the reigning champion’s promoter, Frank Warren, took a dig at Matchroom Boxing’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, over the record ticket sale for the upcoming all British blockbuster.

Tyson Fury‘s promoter caught up with Michelle Joy Phelps ahead of the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte weigh-in. In an exclusive talk, Queensberry Promotion’s Warren hit back at Anthony Joshua‘s promoter, Eddie Hearn, who doesn’t believe the fight does 700,000 PPV buys on BT Sport Box Office.
Taking a dig, Warren said, “Well, he is the same fellow who said we’re not going to sell any tickets. What do I care what he say’s he’s got nothing to do with a show just focus on, what he’s got to do, You know at the moment we’ve sold more tickets than they’ve got probably about four times as much tickets here than the DAZN’s got subscribers in the UK.”

However, this is not the first time that duo English promoters went to and forth. Prior to this, the tensions between the two were very clear when Eddie Hearn and his fighter, Dillian Whyte, did not attend the major press conference a few weeks back.
How did the rivalry between the promoter of Tyson Fury and Eddie Hearn become so intense?

It all began when Warren planned to work with the promotion of Eddie Hearn putting aside all old brawls. According to Talksport, it could not reach fruition as Eddie Hearn tested positive and could not meet Warren. This again resumed the tensions between the two.
As of now, the upcoming historic clash has intensified the exchange, adding new chapters to their rivalry.
