Current WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has been dominating the world of boxing for more than a decade. He rose to fame when he became a world champion after defeating Ukrainian boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko. Notably, Fury’s uncle Peter Fury had a big hand in his success. Fury and his uncle were an inseparable pair at the time, but later they parted ways.

Peter Fury recently shed some light on his struggles and revealed some facts about his life. While talking about his time in prison, he said, “When the sh*t hit the fan and it went wrong for me, then I valued everything.” 

Furthermore, he stated, “I don’t really care what they are doing, I’m sure that they don’t care what I’m doing, so I don’t look at them. I don’t look at their interviews. Period. They are nothing to do with me. So I don’t get involved. People will get the Quran, people will get the Holy Bible. Go and sniff some cocaine around the corner and they think they are religious and think they are God-fearing people.”

Tyson Fury sheds some light on his relationship with his uncle 

The Fury family has spent a lot of time in the news limelight. Sometimes because of their accomplishments in boxing, and other times due to their personal situations. According to reports, Peter Fury was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of being a drug lord. He was discovered engaging in money laundering even while serving time in prison.

While talking about his separation from his uncle, Tyson revealed, “Nowadays, there is no relationship between me and Peter or with Mick. It’s very sad, but with me, like most people I guess, once a relationship is broken it’s very hard to fix it. It hit me hard when I realised I couldn’t work with them again.”
