

Tyson Fury is all set to showcase a sensational performance against Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on December 3, 2022. Fury’s wife, Paris Fury, and trainer, SugarHill Steward, on the other hand, did not fail to bring in the much-needed drama to the event. In fact, they had a few choice words to say about what would happen to Fury’s rival, Oleksandr Usyk.

Paris Fury and Steward were being interviewed by Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions at the fight’s presser. In conversation, the interviewer spoke about Usyk’s presence ringside at the event. Hearing the same, Steward did not mince words while stating, “I don’t know. I heard he’s getting punched in the face.”

Fury reverted by saying that Usyk would get ‘slapped in the face’. The interviewer further quoted Tyson’s statement, that he would slap Usyk. And asked if he would actually put those words into action. Steward responded by saying, “I mean yeah, he retired, didn’t he? He said he’d retire. Did he retire? Yes, he did. So yeah there’s a good chance he might slap him, pop him.”

Fury also mentioned that the duo might just get close to each other for a face-off. And then quickly back away.

The interviewer was curious to know what SugarHill Steward and Paris Fury thought of Oleksandr Usyk’s presence ringside. He asked if his presence will build tension for a potential future fight.

Fury responded by saying, “I don’t know. To my knowledge, Oleksandr Usyk got offered to fight for this date. So if he wanted it so badly he would have been here tonight.”
However, she clarified that his presence builds a great fight regardless.
