When offered initially, Mike Tyson didn’t seem very interested in a trilogy clash against his former foe Evander ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield. However, if the fight happens, it can be the biggest exhibition for the ages, bringing sheer financial profit to both sides. While Tyson had already returned to action against Roy Jones Jr. last year, Evander Holyfield will return against Vitor Belfort on September 11.

Before securing this fight against ‘The Phenom’, Holyfield had challenged Mike Tyson several times and wanted to stage his return against ‘Iron’. Now, the Belfort bout will help Holyfield test himself, and see if he wants Mike Tyson next.

Although there’s no more ill-feeling between the boxing greats, the possibilities of a trilogy can introduce some sort of intensity. That said, many claim that Tyson will actually be present to begin the fight talks of the trilogy bout.
