Prime Mike Tyson was an unstoppable force in the heavyweight division. His butcher-shaped body and power behind gloves with technically sound skills were enough to create a psychological fear in the minds of opponents before the fight. His aura was so intimidating that his opponents used to escape from engaging with him in trash talk.

Interestingly, provoking Tyson in those days was like giving an invitation to a monster to come and beat you up. Despite this Tyson came across a few opponents who ignored this fact and crossed all limits of throwing insults at him. One of them was Tyrell Biggs, who once challenged Tyson for his undisputed heavyweight throne in 1987.

Before the fight, Biggs was so confident in his skills that he did not acknowledge that his opponent was ‘Iron’ Mike.

“As good as I am I know that I know how good I am you know I owe it to myself to go out there and beat Mike Tyson like I am his dad. He’s made for me Tyson I owe it to myself to go out there and beat this fellow and be called the new undisputed heavyweight champion of the world”, Biggs said in an interview before the fight.

But things took a horrible turn for Biggs when he met ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ in the ring. Tyson stopped him in the 7th round and proved who the real deal was.
