UFC Star Colby Covington Warns Jake Paul About Jorge Masvidal’s Teachings

YouTube’s prime prodigy turned boxer, Jake Paul, is currently training in Florida alongside Jorge Masvidal to prepare for his upcoming boxing bout against Ben Askren on April 17. Masvidal was the first man to defeat Askren in a professional fight by knocking him out in a record of 5 seconds.
Jake Paul vows to take a shorter time in defeating ‘Funky’ inside the ring. However, Colby Covington is worried about the fact that he is training with Masvidal and has passed cheeky advice to ‘The Problem Child’.
Covington and Masvidal share a heated rivalry, and the two are also touted to fight next. But Masvidal has constantly ducked the offer, and Covington took the chance to take a dig at him.

Speaking with Submission Radio, ‘Chaos’ said, “By the way, what happened to Street Judas Masvidal, teaching Woodley all his tricks so he could beat me. Hopefully, he isn’t teaching Jake Paul the same trick because that ain’t gonna work out too well.”
Former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley trained with Jorge Masvidal before his latest appearance against Colby Covington in September. But it didn’t turn out fruitful, and Covington finished Woodley via TKO.
Nevertheless, Jake Paul can truly benefit by taking his fight camp to Florida. Despite all the criticisms, Masvidal is an A-listed striker. He also has a sensational win over Askren and considering all the factors, the YouTube star seems to be in safe hands.

Despite being a professional MMA fighter, Ben Askren’s accolades lie in his wresting abilities as he has never shown a superior level of striking at a professional stage. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has 2 KO wins in his 2 pro fights. However, none of them was against elites. So, both the pugilists will have a fair chance of outpointing the other. Only time and the in-ring collision can determine whether Paul is just hype.
