Former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the most iconic names in the sports. And this iconic status comes with its own array of issues. Rcently, UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal shared a rather intriguing post about Mayweather.

Mayweather faced Logan Paul for an exhibition bout at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on June 6, 2021. The bout billed as ‘Bragging Rights’, was a non-scored event that sold over one million pay-per-view buys.

The fight went the complete eight-round distance. Even though there was no winner, the bout was a true display of Mayweather’s boxing prowess. Many fans even felt that the bout was a one-sided affair, with Mayweather landing a majority of the shots.

Paul later went on to accuse Mayweather of not paying him for the fight. He even asked Mayweather for a rematch. It can be said that Mayweather was not too happy with these accusations. Talking about the same, he said, “You see these guys constantly bringing up Floyd Mayweather’s name on the internet just trying to get clout.”

Meanwhile, Masvidal recently shared a post stating that Mayweather spent Paul’s payment on cars. He even expressed his shock about the same. But it should be said that the content of the article did not mention Mayweather spending Paul’s money on cars. It was rather about Paul’s plans to sue Mayweather for not paying him.

This was also not the first time Masvidal shared a post about Mayweather spending Paul’s money on buying cars or houses.

Logan Paul plans to sue Floyd Mayweather

Boxing fans have often pondered about the amount of money that Floyd Mayweather owes Logan Paul. In a recent interview, Paul revealed that he is owed at least USD 2 million and up to USD 5 million for their fight.

And, it seems like ‘The Maverick’ wishes to take Mayweather to court for the same.

TMZ caught up with Paul outside Hard Rock Cafe in NYC. When asked about Mayweather paying him, Paul said, “No, he has not paid me in full. That is a fact. Short a few mil.”

The interviewer further asked him about his playing on receiving his remaining payment. In response, Paul mentioned that he would be taking Mayweather to court for not paying him.
