The Mexican pugilist will confront Avni Yildirim for a mandatory super-middleweight title defense. This fight already garnered attention from boxing fans around the world. But recently, it added another point of attraction in form of Jorge Masvidal.
The UFC welterweight star will mark himself present in the commentary panel for this magnetic clash. Ariel Helwani was the first to make this news official through his Twitter handle.
He wrote, “Jorge Masvidal is going to be providing color commentary for Saturday’s Canelo Alvarez x Avni Yildirim fight in Spanish on ESPN in Latin America only, per his team and the network.”

His tweet later reached the ‘Gamebred’ and he sponsored the same on his Twitter handle.

Masvidal, a Cuban-American MMA fighter, will voice his opinion for this fight in Spanish. His commentary will only be available in Latin America. As per Helwani, Masvidal’s team confirmed the news to make the Alvarez vs Yildirim fight even more exciting.
This is going to be the first time when ‘Gamebred’ will comment on a massive boxing event. Moreover, he’s renowned to fire shots at his rivals and fellow competitors. But, his fans will get glued to their TV screens once he lays his opinion on the 12-round boxing bout on Saturday night.
