Kanye West has become one of the most polarizing figures in pop culture for over a decade. Despite his controversial views, he has garnered a massive fan base with many supporting him for his bold and unfiltered views. However, this has gotten the ‘Famous’ hit-maker in trouble quite a few times.

West recently made headlines for allegedly discussing anti-Semitic views that have alienated the rapper from the majority of the public. West was spotted wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt at the Paris Fashion Week. However, this type of speech has been labeled as hate speech by the Anti-Defamation League due to its association with white supremacists, who began using the phrase in retaliation to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Moreover, this was only amplified after West made an appearance on Fox News where he stated that the reasons for wearing were obvious. “The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do. The same people that have stripped us of our identity and labeled us as a color, have told us what it means to be Black.” he said in the interview.

Following this, new allegations surfaced about West as an ex-TMZ staffer claimed that he praised Hitler. Undisputed female light middleweight champion Claressa Shields also responded to these allegations. In a recent post on Twitter, she took shots at West asking why he was wearing a mouthpiece.”Why this man wearing a mouth piece !” she wrote.

This was meant as a dig to a photo of West circulating where he can be found wearing a mouthpiece to seemingly protect himself.

Claressa Shields believes she can knock out Savana Marshall

The highly anticipated matchup between Shields and Savana Marshall was postponed after Queen Elizabeth passed away. However, the undisputed champion seems confident after she revealed that the postponement might be a blessing in disguise.

This is going to be my statement fight.” She said in an interview with Sky Sports. The bout will now take place on 15th October with Shields vs Marshall will headline an all-women boxing card.
