Following a long layoff, the rising prospect, Ryan Garcia, is going to collide against Ghanaian pugilist Emmanuel Tagoe on April 9 in a positive start to the year 2022.
Ahead of his clash, Tagoe’s boxing manager, Peter Kahn, talked to Sports Illustrated, and the senior writer Chris Mannix, took to Twitter to report it and gave an update on the 23-year-old’s upcoming rumble.
The contract weight for Ryan Garcia-Emmanuel Tagoe will be for a max of 139-pounds, Tagoe's manager, Peter Kahn, told @SInow. Kahn, who manages lighweight champion @GeorgeKambosos, believes there are strong similarities between this fight and Kambosos's upset of Teofimo Lopez.

Few more fans’ reaction to Ryan Garcia vs. Emmanuel Tagoe at 139-pounds
One fan came up in a sarcastic tone. He dragged the controversial partition of Ryan Garcia from his former coach, Eddy Reynoso. Twitter user @FOTYBOXING trolled ‘The Flash’ by saying Garcia left the camp of Canelo Alvarez’s coach because he couldn’t cope with the disciplined schedule.
So Ryan left Reynoso so he could happily be undisciplined and overweight lmao. It’s ok bc his promoter got his back… for now 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Another fan targeted the pretty intense upcoming battle. Since it is not a title fight, he labeled it as a normal trading of leather.

Another fan, Tom Smith, made a cutting remark on Ryan Garcia’s weight. According to this fan, the reason behind Garcia’s weight increase is cookies.
@Marct009 it's at 139 because poor kingry had one too many cookies while he was depressed AKA ducking

Another fan came up with a bizarre statement. He is of the opinion that it should promote this fight of Garcia as the debut fight at 140.
Really need to get eid of catchweights. This fight is just a 140 fight. Sell it as Ryan making his debut at 140 and be done with it

Another fan, Javier Morales, questioned Garcia. He wrote, “what’s up champ? No does this mean you’re moving up to 140 next?”
