Former lightweight king Vasyl Lomachenko has verbally destroyed Devin Haney and his father, Bill. The Ukrainian superstar showed his frustration over their recent comments and allegations. ‘Loma’ also questioned what ‘The Dream’ is trying to do with these interviews.

The American engaged in a verbal battle with the Ukrainian, which set off rumors of a potential bout. Haney then claimed he sent a contract to ‘Loma’ and that it was the only thing stopping his next fight announcement. However, Lomachenko immediately shut it down.

The 14-2 boxer spoke to SNOWQUEENLA on YouTube and lashed out at the pair. He said, “Where is the contract, and who was it sent to? In every interview, he is saying the same thing in different words. They are showing screenshots, the messages they sent they received… They asked, did he ever send a contract. He couldn’t give an answer.”

This comment showed his evident frustration at being dragged in the mix without getting a contract. The Ukrainian said he was ready to fight ‘The Dream’. However, he claimed Haney does not want that match-up and was using his name to build up his next bout.

Vasyl Lomachenko lashed out at Bill Haney

This trash-talk adds to the excitement in the lightweight division. Generally, ‘Loma’ is not one to engage in talk like this outside the ring. Therefore, this shows how much he wants to prove there has been no contact between the two.

He even spoke about Bill Haney’s recent interview. He said, “Oh so Devin himself sent this contract and never told his dad about it? And now when I respond to Devin’s words, his dad decided to chime in.”

Thus, with these comments, Lomachenko accused Bill Haney of mopping up the WBC champion’s mess. Whether the two boxers fight next or in the future, this exchange will make that bout a fiery affair.

As of now, it appears as though Haney’s next title defense will be against Lomachenko’s former rival, Jorge Linares. If the American can get through that bout, expect him to call out the Ukrainian straight away.
