The brightest welterweight boxer, Vergil Ortiz Jr. will storm into the ring on March 20th. He will take on the big-wig, Maurice Hooker, in an epic encounter.

“I’m definitely excited for this fight, This is going to be the hardest fight of my career on paper. We’re fighting in Dallas, and we’re both from Dallas, This is going to be big,” he stated.

Ortiz Jr. continued, “We prepare for every fight the same way. We treat them as if they are the hardest fight of my career. In this case, it actually is. We’re training hard.”

Maurice hooker is a veteran of the sport and the most experienced opponent for Vergil Ortiz Jr. Even though he’s one of the toughest combatants, the undefeated boxer is leaving no stone unturned as far as training is concerned.

He is looking at this fight just as another fight as he walks into the ring with one goal in mind, a raised hand at the final bell.

‘Mighty Mo’ will look to outsmart Ortiz Jr. with an added advantage of height and reach. But giving the latter his first career loss won’t be too easy.
