Ben Askren has all the fighting accolades that bill him to be a superior combatant than Jake Paul. However, his upcoming fight with the Internet star would be a boxing match, and looking at Askren’s striking abilities, not many have posed their favor on him.

In an MMA career at multiple organizations, Askren has been a world champion at Bellator and One. But he has always struggled against top-level striking, claiming most of his wins with wrestling abilities. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has been super active with his boxing stints and is already 2-0 in the pro circuit.

British boxer, Viddal Riley, has recently analyzed Askren’s striking skills to preview the upcoming cruiserweight matchup. He looked at a few stances and jabs, before claiming that Ben Askren wouldn’t survive more than three minutes against ‘The Problem Child’.

The undefeated Brit said, “That was just a little two-punch combination, that looked good, but compared to the rest of it, he is done for and I am making my prediction right now. Ben Askren is not making it out the first round.”

He added, “I can’t see him making it out the first three minutes with that, those hands being the threat to an opponent. It’s hardly any and I can’t see him getting him out the first round.”
