VIDEO: Brawl Breaks Out in the Stands During Andy Ruiz Jr. vs Chris Arreola

The Andy Ruiz Jr. vs Chris Arreola event has seen several interesting fights take place on the undercard. However, it turned a bit bizarre to see a fight happen in the live audience. While the Dignity Health Sports Park was busy hosting the event amongst the crowd, a physical altercation broke out in the stands.

Reporter, Mike Coppinger, took to Twitter and posted a video of the bizarre free fight in the audience. Although the exact reason for the skirmish wasn’t disclosed, it showed several people dive into the fight. In the caption, Coppinger wrote, “And boxing is back in SoCal! They are slugging it out in the stands!!”

Initially, two people were spotted trading blows. Meanwhile, several more people seemed to join in, including a lady who apparently threw a kick in between. The situation could have been even worse, but fortunately, the security intervened and separated them all.

Well, that’s not all. A few moments later, another fight erupted in the stands and Coppinger obligingly shared it with the world.

 

It was an awkward incident that disrupted the sensational event. But it gave fans some impromptu and illegal bare-knuckle brawls, all for free.

Before we could see Chris Arreola and Andy Ruiz Jr. lock horns, the fight card had already seen several intense moments. Abel Ramos had stopped his opponent Omar Figueroa Jr. with brutal shots, which left him puking blood in the corner. Meanwhile, the public brawl garnered more attention and had the world talking about it.
