Canelo Alvarez, the P4P king, has shown his displeasure towards the new trend of celebrity boxing several times. He has thoroughly ridiculed the YouTubers for entering the squared circle, billing it as a disrespect to the sport. This came to the fore in a massive way, following his belt defense against Avni Yildirim.

Following a successful bout against ‘Mr. Robot’, Alvarez was interacting with the media in the ring. Surprisingly, a man emerged in the ring with a Jake Paul t-shirt and he intentionally grabbed the cameraman’s attention by jumping and pointing towards his outfit. But, Alvarez cut off the act pretty quickly.
He stopped the interview midway and asked the man to leave the ring. Marcos Villegas posted the clip on his official Twitter handle and sent fans into a frenzy.

Just when Floyd Mayweather had announced his return against Logan Paul in a special exhibition, the P4P king expressed his disapproval over the entire issue. He demeaned the YouTubers for hampering the spirit of the sport and also invited the Paul brothers for a sparring session.
No, it wasn’t a friendly offer, but Alvarez wanted to show them the true meaning of boxing. The remarks didn’t sit well with Logan Paul as he hit back at the four-division world champion.
