Last Sunday, Jake Paul locked horns with the former UFC welterweight champ, Tyron Woodley. In what was his first big test in the fight world, the YouTuber turned boxer came through adversity in style. Woodley presented a stern challenge to the Ohio native, but the latter relentlessly kept coming ahead with his shots and claimed a gratifying split decision win.

But the next question is, who’ll ‘The Problem Child’ face in his next boxing encounter? Will he take on any of his arch-rivals from the hit list again?

Talking about his rival, one name that pops up every boxing lover’s head is the P4P king, Canelo Alvarez. But is the Mexican boxer himself willing to fight the 24-year-old?

Recently, The Hollywood Fix shared a video of Canelo Alvarez, wherein he answered the much-anticipated question on whether he’ll face Jake Paul. “Not now,” he said.

The 31-year-old, for now, is on his pursuit to become the undisputed king of the super-middleweights. Accordingly, he’s just one win away from bagging all the titles on the line.

That said, celebrity fights or fights that offer him an extensive amount of money don’t intrigue Canelo, as he is in his prime and is chasing a legacy. Citing that, Jake Paul is far from booking a pro-boxing fight with the face of boxing.

How can Jake Paul enter a boxing showdown with Canelo Alvarez?

As long as Canelo Alvarez is chalking out his pro-boxing stint, Jake Paul won’t get to fight him by any means.

Until then, ‘The Problem Child’ should keep fighting other contenders to keep his career going. Once Canelo signs off from the sport, Paul should rush ahead to book an exhibition fight and satisfy his desire for a Canelo Alvarez vs Jake Paul bout.
