As the fight began, Magsayo dropped his fellow adversary in the first round itself. He showed enough power and intent right from the first gong and left Ceja on the back foot. Despite the knockdown, Ceja, who gained a vertical base, came out with some counterattacks.

He even had Magsayo on the ropes, but couldn’t make full use of the opportunity. In the second round, too, ‘Magnifico’ was the offensive boxer, and he only came forward with his shots. On the other hand, Ceja used his hooks to get some success.
