This advice helped Davis buck up in the fight and claim the win. Barrios, the underdog in this fight, fared extremely well in the initial stages and he even gave a stern test to ‘Tank’. However, the latter was a step ahead. He began his assault from the very first round, looking to overpower the smaller ‘Tank’.

But as the fight moved ahead, Davis became a bit slow and Mayweather shared an honest opinion with ‘Tank’. That said, ‘Pretty Boy’s piece of advice worked wonders for the young force.

This was the most special win for Gervonta Davis as he performed so well in front of his idol, Floyd Mayweather. He shook the entire boxing fraternity and went all guns blazing against ‘El Azteca’, finishing him in round 11 of the fight.
