The pair came face-to-face backstage after a press conference and had a heated confrontation. But the actual brawl ignited when Paul snatched Mayweather’s hat and tried to run. This left Mayweather fuming over the YouTuber turned boxer, and as a result, he attacked Paul.

Several security guards had to jump in to separate the two. This whole incident has poured cold water on Jake Paul’s relationship with Floyd Mayweather, which at once quite cordial.

In fact, a few years back, Mayweather even announced that he was training and managing Jake Paul. In a video alongside ‘The Problem Child’, Mayweather said, “I’m his manager, I’m his trainer. When it comes to the fight game, support him, follow him. Money, Mayweather, he’s a part of ‘The Money Team.”

Back then, Paul was calling out fellow YouTuber KSI for a boxing bout. And he astonishingly roped in ‘Pretty Boy’ to endorse him.

Despite these announcements, Mayweather never really trained the Ohio native for any of his fights. Yet, the bond between the two never deteriorated. But as things progressed, the 24-year-old’s elder brother, Logan Paul, got lined up to face ‘TBE’. Hence, the young gun also wanted to secure this fight.

That said, he tried every weapon from his bag to get onto Mayweather‘s nerves. And it’s fair to say that he succeeded.
