Jake Paul doesn’t seem to be done taking shots at UFC star Conor McGregor, as he recently compared his stardom with the Irishman. While ‘The Problem Child’ is on the brink of meeting Tyron Woodley inside the ring, he has clearly grabbed attention from the combat world and the Internet community.
That said, he has claimed himself to have surpassed Conor McGregor in google searches. The 24-year-old took to social media and posted a clip, where he searched himself and Conor McGregor on google. Interestingly, the search engine showed 187 million results for ‘The Problem Child’, whereas only 63.4 million searches for McGregor.

However, Google trends could have brought a more static result to the comparison. Although McGregor has mostly ignored Jake Paul’s call-outs, the social media celebrity doesn’t appear to have moved on. Jake Paul has been calling out Conor McGregor for a boxing scrap ever since his second boxing win. He even offered a $50 million pay-check to the former UFC champ-champ.
That’s not all, as Paul even tried to belittle McGregor’s wife, Devlin. But all of it turned into vain and McGregor showed no interest in facing a social media personality. Nevertheless, it didn’t stop ‘The Problem Child’ from advancing his boxing career.

After vanquishing former MMA champion Ben Askren, he will now face the 5x UFC champion Tyron Woodley on August 29. On bagging a win over Woodley, Paul can see himself as a mid-tier fighter with an unbeaten record of 4-0. But will it be enough to allure Conor McGregor to step up?

Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor- The Mismatch
Conor McGregor is currently on a downfall in his UFC career. In over four years, he has won only one bout, against Donald Cerrone, and has lost thrice. While it’s clear that the Irishman has lost his charm in the fight game, he is still the most popular personality in the UFC. It has also helped him remain the cash-cow of the sport.

As McGregor has retired several times in the past, he might opt for it again. That said, a lucrative boxing showdown against Jake Paul might grab his interest in the future. But that doesn’t seem to be in Conor McGregor’s plans right now.
