Most boxing fans don’t consider Logan Paul as a legitimate contender against Floyd Mayweather. Although the two are slated to fight each other in a special exhibition clash, Mayweather and Paul seem to have different training plans.

Five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather hasn’t posted many videos of his ongoing training camp. That said, he may not consider a full training camp to battle a YouTuber turned boxer. However, Logan Paul is doing everything he can to gear up for the unbeaten world champion.

Ahead of the big fight, Logan Paul looks shredded and his recent training videos might also gab one’s attention. Starting from his physique, to his defense and his reflexes, speed to his punching abilities and power, ‘The Maverick’ looks promising at this stage. Although he is still the underdog against a mighty Mayweather, Paul can be the first man to beat him inside the boxing ring.

Can Logan Paul vanquish Floyd Mayweather?

It might be bizarre to favor Logan Paul, over Floyd Mayweather. But boxing is an unpredictable sport, and Paul has some serious advantages in the matchup. If he can put them to display, the YouTuber can surpass ‘Money May’.

Standing at 6’2″, Paul has a considerable height advantage over the 5’8″ Mayweather. Furthermore, he has a reach of 76″, and Mayweather only has a reach of 72″. Meanwhile, Logan Paul will also have an age advantage. So, all these statistics provide a slight advantage to ‘The Maverick’.

If he can land and connect the bigger shots, there’s a chance Paul can beat Mayweather. Nevertheless, the fight can turn in Mayweather’s favor if it goes to the distance. Despite being a shorter man than Paul, Mayweather’s defensive ability can affect the outcome. The 50-0 star will bring his boxing experience to the fore and nullify any advantages ‘The Maverick’ may have in the tale of the tape.

While Mayweather may not have a hard time dealing with Logan Paul’s prowess, he will need to stay alert and not risk his glorious legacy in an exhibition. The contest will take place on February 20, 2021, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
