Former champions- Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. ended their respective retirements to put on a heavyweight exhibition against each other on November 28. The fight ended in a draw, with neither man claiming the win.

However, 54-year-old Mike Tyson seemingly outpointed Roy Jones Jr, throughout the 16 minutes. Despite hitting no knockdown, Tyson attacked Jones’s body and made the cruiserweight legend stumble a few times. Although Jones had his moments, he eventually failed to infuse much dominance inside the ring.

Prior to the matchup, several people had pictured the encounter and had warned Roy Jones Jr. against locking horns with Mike Tyson. That said, ‘Iron’ Mike was vexed about it.

‘Iron’ said, “I didn’t fight in 20 years. He is not fighting only for three years.  I am afraid, I might get (hurt). Why nobody care about my a**? I didn’t fight in 15 years. He stopped fighting 3 years ago and everybody is worried about his a**.”

He continued, “I haven’t done this in 15-16 years. I am not a giant, I am a beginner.”

While Tyson was having his moment on the mic, and Roy Jones was laughing throughout the interview. It is no surprise that boxing fans were happy to see the legends return to action.
