Ever since his victory over Vasyl Lomachenko, Lopez has been engaging in verbal battles with all of his lightweight rivals. Through this, he has shown that he can let his emotions get the better of him with his boxing.

However, he asked the right person for advice. When the two were talking on the ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ Podcast, Lopez asked Tyson, “Can I ask you champ? I need advice.
“I always pick up things from you… How were you able to, all that anger, all that rage, eventually, how were you able to tame it?”
As you can expect, Tyson obliged. However, he did not explain to Lopez how he tamed his anger. Instead, Tyson explained how people manage without finding peace.
He said, “Some people never find that peace. They just know how to channel it [anger]. They never find it [Peace].”
Thus, with these comments, ‘Iron Mike’ hinted that Lopez needs to make sure he can control his emotions.

Since his retirement from the sport, ‘Iron Mike’ changed his ways, and now despite his return, he carries himself with class and respect. However, he sometimes let his youthful side take over like when he tried to instigate feuds for Teofimo Lopez.
