The internet sensation had a lackluster run as his last fight came in January 2021. Now, his next fight is lined up for April 9 against Emmanuel Tagoe. This fight will take place in Alamodome, San Antonio.

In all, there’s around a month left for Garcia’s return and he’s slowly getting into his previous boxing element, showing umpteen prowess. Recently, he dropped a training video on his social handle, wherein Garcia can be seen throwing super-fast punches on the mitts.

‘King Ry’ practiced a combo in this drill wherein he landed the right hook, then a left, and concluded with a right. On top of this, he even kept a slick head movement.

Garcia is enjoying his time in training sessions these days and is looking to get better every day. He even changed his trainer, looping in Joe Goossen instead of Eddy Reynoso. With that, the 23-year-old puzzled the boxing fans as no one expected him to leave Reynoso by any means.

Also, he was considered as an elite after Canelo Alvarez, in Reynoso’s camp.

But things didn’t go as planned for Garcia. As a result, he announced a switch and even engaged in banter with Canelo Alvarez over the same.
