Former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, had several intriguing moments in his fighting career, both inside and outside the ring. Starting from his highlight reel knockouts to jaw-dropping comments, Tyson had always grabbed attention.

However, he went a bit too far at times. During the dusk of his career, Tyson still had a competitive mindset and most of his opponents felt that, including ‘The Lion’ Lennox Lewis. Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis shared a heated rivalry in the early 2000s.

But, the rivalry didn’t only sustain inside the squared circle. Tyson and Lewis’ press conference was similarly intense as both the heavyweights went back and forth. The build-up turned the contest into a successful blockbuster and the press-conference remained as one of the most bizarre, yet entertaining scenes in boxing history.

Both Tyson and Lewis made their way to the stage. Meanwhile, Tyson went straight towards Lewis as he appeared. Although Lews didn’t initiate an action, ‘Iron Mike’ started attacking him and his teammates. It turned the scenario vile as Lewis also dived into the heated confrontation.

While Tyson and Lewis had several such moments between them in the build-up, their in-ring collision brought out the best. Both the veterans landed haymakers and did everything they could to bag the win. However, ‘The Lion’ dictated the pace and dominated Tyson for a longer time.

In round 8, the Brit made his last statement by flooring Tyson with a vicious shot. Following the loss, ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ took three more fights and retired after losing two of them. Meanwhile, Lewis fought and KOed Vitali Klitschko in his next fight before hanging his gloves.
