A couple of days back, Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant attended their pre-fight press conference. The entire boxing fraternity was excited about this event as this was the first time when both these stalwarts were coming face to face. But what happened in this press event shook everyone to the core. Both Alvarez and Plant got into a scuffle and security had to jump in to separate the two.

The duo trash-talked each other extensively and suddenly Alvarez pushed ‘Sweethands’. In response, the IBF champ came in to land a left hook which was dodged by the p4p king. Post that, Alvarez slapped Plant and the latter’s glasses went flying off.

Recently, Michael Benson shared a couple of images on his Twitter, where one can clearly see that Alvarez knocked off Plant’s glasses.

Alvarez and Plant are set to fight each other on November 6th. The pair will contend for all the super-middleweight titles on the line and the winner will cement himself as the undisputed 168-pound champ.

That said, the hype behind this contest is insane and the responsibility this bout carries is immense. Both the fighters recognize the importance of this fight. Accordingly, they both will look to make a statement when they finally get to face each other in the ring.
