AnEson Gib went for redemption

After a disappointing loss to Jake Paul in his first professional bout, Gib entered the exhibition with a shot at redemption. And his performance showed that as he came out as the aggressor, taking the fight to Holder.

The Englishman kept the pressure on the American TikToker and out-landed him by more than double in terms of power punches as he hit Holder with 38 power shots, while the American could manage only 16. The total punches landed also showed the same story as Gib landed 47 to Holder’s 21.

Referee’s reaction to the scorecard

When all three judges score the bout in favor of one person, it is a unanimous decision victory. And in this case, the scorecards showed a clear majority to one fighter, which many say should have been Gib. And even the referee showed his surprise at the announcement.

Fans on social media noticed how even the referee looked surprised as he raised both fighters’ hands in the air after hearing the scoring. While fighters getting robbed is nothing new to boxing, the biggest surprise of this will be the scorecard.
