Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was recently seen talking about his own mortality. In a rather concerning turn of events, Tyson was seen limping at the UFC 277.

Tyson was at UFC 277 at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas Texas. Notably, he was with Terence Crawford at an event that saw Amanda Nunez secure a scintillating victory against Julianna Pena.

However, boxing fans were concerned to see Tyson limping as he made his way to his seat. Moreover, he was also seen using a cane to support himself while walking.

Not the first time that Mike Tyson limped

It is worth noting that this was not the first time that ‘the Baddest Man on the Planet’ was caught limping. In fact, Tyson was caught on camera limping as he made his way from the hotel to his car.

The former champ seemed to be in visible discomfort while walking. And he was also seen using a cane for support. However, it was later revealed that it was nothing serious and was a remission of old injuries.

Tyson apparently has a sciatica flare-up, which can in fact be a very unpleasant experience. But it was also mentioned that it was nothing but a minor ‘occupational hazard’ for the formidable heavyweight.

Meanwhile, in a wholesome turn of events, he was also seen making time to talk to his fans amidst the pain.

Tyson talks about his death

Recent times have seen the once immortal heavyweight talking about his own mortality.

Tyson was talking on his podcast with co-host DJ Whoo Kidd. Moreover, Tyson’s therapist, Sean McFarland, was also present as a guest for the episode. In conversation, Tyson spoke about feeling like his death is close. He said, “We are all going to die, one day, of course. When I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face and say, wow that’s my expiration date is coming close really soon.”

The behemoth of age seems to have struck fear in the heart of the once fearless heavyweight.
