Resurfaced video of a young Gervonta Davis sparring goes viral

In a video shared by ES Sports reporter Elie Seckbach, a young ‘Tank’ Davis can be seen sparring. Davis is seen throwing a devastating left hook that lands flush on his sparring partner’s chin, causing the fighter to stumble backward and nearly fall out of the ring. Fortunately, the sparring partner manages to regain his balance and compose himself, but the power of Davis’ punch is undeniable.

This incident serves as a testament to ‘Tank’ Davis’ immense power and athleticism. At 5’5″ and weighing in at around 135 pounds, Davis has proven time and again that he can hold his own against much larger opponents. Moreover, he might certainly need this power if he wants to beat Garcia who is the larger opponent of the two. One would speculate that this might be the reason why Davis’ team has put in a re-hydration clause in KingRy’s contract.

‘Tank’ Davis predicts Ryan Garcia’s fate in their upcoming bout

The Baltimore native is confident that he will not need the judges to declare the winner of the fight. In an interview with FoxNews, Davis predicted that he will easily get the better of his rival. He also claimed that he was superior to Garcia in every aspect of the sport.

“He [Garcia] doesn’t bring any concern for me to need to change up my game plan. I don’t want to sound cocky. I wouldn’t know until I get in the ring with him, his movement, his hand speed. I’ll fill him out overall, break him down by his mistakes, and then we’ll get him out of there,” said Davis.
