Unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua hates losing, be it inside the ring or outside of it. However, he knows how to emerge stronger from defeats.
‘AJ’ faced a crushing upset when Andy Ruiz Jr. handed him his maiden professional loss in 2019. However, he returned to avenge the loss in the same year by outpointing his Mexican adversary.
That said, AJ suffered another loss recently, but it isn’t as grave as a loss in the ring. Instead, this one is hilarious as Joshua lost a bet against his teammate Jonathan Constant.

Well, Jonathan had a hard time and was on the verge of losing the challenge. But he still managed to do it and proved Anthony Joshua wrong.
Now, the world champion had also put a bet of £10,000 on him. While Jonathan made it happen from his end, it seems AJ lost the money.

Reporter Michael Benson shared the video from his official Twitter handle. It depicted a calm and loosened Joshua, before his main-event fight against Kubrat Pulev for the unified heavyweight belts.
Anthony Joshua can be back on the KO track
The upcoming fight holds a lot in store for the champion. It is a gateway to bag the title unification fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury in 2021. It is also about Joshua’s heavyweight dominance, which was challenged in the last year when he lost his ‘unbeaten’ tag against Andy Ruiz Jr.

Despite reclaiming the titles via decision in the rematch, the dent put by Ruiz Jr. itches Joshua to this day. Analysts and boxing pundits also use it to demean his abilities in the lethal heavyweight division.
