“Live to fight another day.” That is exactly what Jeff Horn did in his latest bout against Tim Tszyu.

With a record of 22-2-1, Horn took on undefeated IBF Australian and WBO Global light middleweight champion Tim Tszyu. Unfortunately for Horn, he was dominated in the match; the champion punished Horn for eight rounds straight. And forced him to quit on the stool before the ninth round.

This win improved Tszyu’s record to 16-0 whereas his opponent’s record changed to 20–3–1. Check out the stoppage below.

Paul Kent of The Daily Telegraph called the moment “embarrassing.” Check out what he had to say about the situation.

“For Glenn Rushton, who is Jeff Horn’s trainer, to be sitting there at the end of the eighth to be asking him if he wants to fight. If he’s got one more punch in him… was embarrassing, to be honest. It showed the amateurism that’s been there throughout most of Jeff Horn’s career. The greatness of Jeff Horn is that he’s been able to overcome that.”

Well, it is not the first time that Rushton did something like this. Critics have accused him of not pulling out his boxer from a fight in time before.
