The bout between the pair started with an aggressive exchange. The first fighter tried to throw a punch at his opponent, and the latter countered with a lethal kick that sent the first one to the floor. Somehow the knocked-out fighter gathered himself and began to move toward his corner, assuming that the referee has stopped the bout. However, the referee did not stop the bout.

This gave a gift like opportunity to a ‘Blood Thirsty’ fighter to win the bout. He rushed towards the fighter, who was moving back to his corner and landed a flying kick on the back that almost broke it.

Fans’ reaction to a cheap shot kickboxing match

One fan wrote, “Unsportsmanlike, pretty cheap, but he shouldn’t have had his back turned.”

Another fan was of the opinion that it was not a fight between uncivilized people. He wrote, “While he should have been defending himself, come on. A running flying side kick to the back? Have some more respect. You’re a martial artist, not a barbarian.”

“Cheap shot. Funny how people care about winning so much they don’t care for ethical fair fighting. Only thing it proves is you’re not good enough of a fighter so you try to cheap or fake your way through it”, Another fan.

Another fan wrote, “No sportsmanship and bad referee.”

Another fan added, “Both. It was definitely a cheap shot. But, you don’t turn your back in a fight. Just for that reason!”

Another fan mentioned, “The ref unintentionally set that up, kid just got a little blood thirsty to get in a free shot👏 seems normal to me tho protect yourself all times & keep your guard up if you wanna be a fighter officiating isnt always 100% fair or correct!”

These were a few fans who questioned the situation that created such a worrisome scene.
