Heavyweight boxing legend Evander Holyfield shared a clip of himself on his social media, which showed him having some fun.
The video was posted from Holyfield’s official Twitter account and showed him dancing in his swimming pool. He looked in high spirits in the video which was captioned, “When life is good, make sure you enjoy and receive it fully. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend.”
It is worth noting that Holyfield also appeared in the celebrity dance contest “Dancing With The Stars” in the past.
One thing that caught the fans’ eye was the incredible shape Holyfield was in. “The Real Deal” looks jacked at 57. Many even commented stating he did not show his age at all.
Evander Holyfield (44-10, 29 KOs) is the only undisputed champion in two-weight divisions in boxing history. Having held all the major titles in cruiserweight and heavyweight during the late 80s and the early 90s. He retired from professional boxing in 2011 after a TKO victory over Brian Nielsen.
The recent video by Holyfield has been unlike his previous videos, which showed him training for his comeback.
Holyfield announced his return to boxing earlier this year. It was around the same time as his famous rival, Mike Tyson. The videos from Holyfield’s social media got the fans hyped-up for his return.
Although he is sure about his return to the ring, Holyfield stated that it will only be for exhibition matches for charity. With both Tyson and Holyfield releasing their training footage around the same time, the fans were expecting a trilogy bout between the two.
But with Tyson having four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. as his opponent, it cancels out the possibility of a Tyson Holyfield 3 for now.
Holyfield looks in great shape in terms of his physique. But the question that arises is: Can his body, at 57, can take the punishment? He has faced severe health issues in the past. So while we are eager for his return, let’s just hope he is making the right decision.
