WATCH: ‘Calm’ Mike Tyson Hangs Out With His Favorite Pets Ahead of Roy Jones Jr. Bout

Mike Tyson will finally return to the boxing ring after more than 15 years against former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout being billed as “Frontline Battle”.

The former heavyweight champion took to Instagram and has already begun counting down the days ahead of the epic showdown. He was seen resting on his chair, feeding the pigeons near his swimming pool as the camera panned to show numerous birds at Tyson’s beautiful house.

Iron Mike has often confessed his love for pigeons. Needless to say, he looked calm and composed as he fed his favorite pet ahead of the mega fight.

Mike Tyson’s love for pigeons is well known. He has stated in the past that he got into his first fight because of a pigeon. A pigeon enthusiast, ‘Iron’ has never failed to shower his love to the delicate birds who have often been referred to as messengers of God.

“Calm before the storm. Count down. 10 days to go,” wrote Tyson.

Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. will fight in an eight-round bout inside the Staples Center in California. The hugely awaited match-up will see boxing veterans contend for the “Frontline Championship” made exclusive by the WBO for the bout.

The wait is almost over, and the night is right around the corner. The heavyweight kingpin has looked sharp in the training videos that are doing rounds on social media. Needless to say, the fierce power and dedication still shine bright in the 54-year-old former heavyweight champion.

On the other side, Roy Jones Jr. has been the busier boxer. He last competed inside the ring back in February 2018 in a winning affair against Scott Sigmon and has looked equally sharp ahead of the lead-up.
