That said, Garcia’s next opponent Luke Campbell isn’t an easy call. The 33-year-old is an A-listed lightweight and many believe that he can end Garcia’s undefeated streak. Thus, Canelo Alvarez is passing his best knowledge to Garcia, making sure he gets the win on December 5.

Canelo Alvarez is the perfect teacher for Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia is a knockout specialist. Taking out 17 of his opponents via KO and 3 by decision, it is safe to believe that Garcia will hunt for another knockout in his next fight. While he has got several tools in his repertoire, Alvarez just passed him the best one.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s signature left hook is something that every boxer wants to hone. So Garcia is fortunate to learn it from the man himself. In the gym, Alvarez has shown blueprints of his left hook several times.

When his turn came, Garcia also showcased the left hooks, and they were alluring to watch. If he uses those shots against Campbell, it can be a terrible night for the Britisher. However, it is still too early to predict.

After so many rigmaroles of date and venue, the lightweight matchup is finally locked for December 5. Yet the venue is still not disclosed. Garcia and Campbell will fight each other in a 12 round battle for the WBC interim lightweight title.
