Moreover, the main event was a one-sided show, with Mayweather dominating the proceedings throughout the fight. The fight was stopped in the sixth round after Mayweather came out hot, cornering Deji and firing fast punches. Eventually, referee Kenny Bayless had seen enough and stopped the fight. The event faced a lot of backlash for its underwhelming card and lackluster performances.
However, undisputed female middleweight champion Claressa Shields could not stop laughing after Mayweather made some remarks about the event. In a video, ‘Money’ can be seen along with a couple of fans. He then proceeds to comment about the match stating that the headlines in the media exactly reflected the event perfectly.

Mayweather and Shields have both had a great professional relationship through the years. Given that the two are the best in their divisions, it is natural for both of them to hold the other in high regard.
Moreover, the two are also from the state of Michigan, which might be why Shields came out in ‘Money’s support.
