David Benavidez likes it wrapped in gold!

ES News and Benavidez seem to have taken a break from their usual interviews as the boxing news YouTube channel was at the venue when Benavidez pulled the curtains off his new Lambo. Wrapped in gold and accented with a bit of black, the car looked like something a Saudi Royal might own. As for the exact model of the car – it’s most likely an SUV.

It was the 2023 Lamborghini Urus, which the Italian automobile manufacturers claim is a Sport Utility Vehicle. It sports a 4.0 L V8 engine and can go from 0 – 100 within 3.5 seconds. The base model of the car comes with a price tag of approximately $233,995 in the USA, but Benvidez’s fully modified beauty will definitely top that easily. While Benavidez is enjoying his new purchase, the man who named him ‘The Mexican Monster’ isn’t happy about Canelo ducking Benavidez.

“What’s wrong with Canelo? Is he afraid of losing? Doesn’t he want to give the fans the fight they want to see? Don’t you want to give the fans the fight they want to see? Do you not respect the legacy of the great Mexican champions who faced the best regardless of the money?… This is a shame for boxing and for Mexico,” said Mike Tyson.
