Since Deontay Wilder’s humiliating loss to Tyson Fury in February 2020, everybody has been asking one question: Where is Deontay Wilder? Well, the “Bronze Bomber” went on a hiatus. However, in a recent short video, the former WBC champion showed himself to the world.

Fury manhandled the former champion in their rematch till the seventh round and forced Wilder’s corner to throw in the towel. Wilder was entitled to an immediate rematch that was supposed to take place a few months after their second fight. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit the world, and the rest is history.

After moving the dates multiple times, Fury moved on from Wilder. He said that he would fight in December to stay active and prepare for the Anthony Joshua fight. According to Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, the British fighter could fight an opponent not named Wilder, as the rematch clause for the trilogy expired.

Unsurprisingly, Wilder’s team retaliated. The American fighter’s manager, Shelly Finkel, asserted that the bout was not off and Wilder would fight Fury at any time and anyplace. However, the world received no word from Deontay Wilder himself.
