WATCH: Floyd Mayweather Showcases His Slick Defense Against Gervonta Davis on Virtual Reality

Floyd Mayweather and Gervonta Davis have shared a close relationship over the years. Gervonta Davis grew up admiring the legendary boxer and signed with Mayweather promotions. 

Recently, the undefeated fighters hung out together, and ‘Money’ displayed some of his trademark defensive skills against the young champion.

In the latest video on ESNEWS, the champion was seen testing out a boxing game on virtual reality. As he was testing it out, Mayweather trolled him. He went in front of him and dodged his punches. This gave fans a glimpse of the old Floyd Mayweather and maybe a sign of what is to come on February 20.

This is not the first instance where the two have spent time together. Mayweather has taken Davis under his wing and wants him to follow in his footsteps. Therefore, there have been multiple occasions where they’ve been seen together outside of the sport.

What’s next for Floyd Mayweather and Gervonta Davis?

Despite them enjoying time outside the gym, both fighters are gearing up for their next big fight. Floyd Mayweather will take on YouTube sensation Logan Paul in an exhibition fight in just over a months’ time, while Davis is yet to get confirmation on his fight.

There has been a lot of back-and-forth between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia since Garcia’s victory. Both have made it clear that they want to face each other and given their global profiles, it will be a massive fight for the sport.
