In a resurfaced video, the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ made a shocking confession. And to an extent, it was pretty dark. However, it does give an insight into the raw and authentic side of Mike Tyson. The former two-time heavyweight champion was known for his ferociousness inside the ring, having exotic pets, and living a lavish lifestyle. However, in order to attain his riches, he had to sacrifice a lot and go through many hardships during his prime years of boxing. Tyson is one of the most popular boxers of all time but ironically, the sport that made him popular also made him lonely.

In his prime, the heavyweight boxer was a fighting man through and through. However, that came at a cost— he missed out on spending time with his family and lived an isolated life. This lifestyle worked out for him in the ring but also took a toll on his mental health. In an interview that went viral, Tyson looked seemingly frustrated and the same was evident during his verbal spat with the reporter.

Tyson was explaining to the reporter the not-so-glamorous side of boxing. He stated, “You are a reporter of boxing but never fought and never been a champion. You don’t know our pain. It’s the loneliest sport in the world you know what I’m saying?” In addition, he made a personal revelation that left the fans intrigued. The resurfaced video was posted by fightingcore2 on Instagram. In the video, Tyson revealed that training for the sport made him lose out on precious time with his family. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “I haven’t f**ked my wife in a year. You think I give a damn about Andrew Galota? Haven’t seen my kids in months.” He adds, “I don’t care about living or dying. I am a dysfunctional motherfu*ker.”
