An iconic rivalry is what makes the sport of boxing as entertaining and gripping as a Dostoyevsky novel. And if there is one person who loves a good beef for clout, it’s Jake Paul. Incredulously, boxing fans have recently witnessed the increased rancor between Paul and Andrew Tate. As such, Paul recently opened up about a potential fight with Tate.

Tate had previously called Paul out for a fight. In fact, he challenged Paul to fight him before going behind a Floyd Mayweather or Conor McGregor payday. Additionally, he had also stated that it will be hard for Paul to beat a ‘retired old man’ like himself.
Paul was in an interview, after the presser for his upcoming bout with Hasim Rahman Jr. In conversation, the interviewer asked him about the ongoing Tate drama, by saying, “Did you ever consider Andrew Tate as an opponent?”

However, Paul seemed surprised by the question and avoided answering it. Moreover, the reporter was urged by his team to move on to the next question. Meanwhile, Paul was also heard mumbling under his breath, “I don’t even know who that is.”

With Paul’s indifference, it seems like Tate’s wait for a Paul payday just got a lot longer.

Jake Paul was pining for a Tommy Fury showdown. However, the bout was canceled due to the travel bans on the Fury family.

There were further reports stating that Fury has been replaced by Hasim Rahman Jr. Notably, Rahman Jr. is the son of the formidable Hasim Rahman, a former heavyweight champion.

The bout is scheduled to take place at the iconic Madison Square Garden on August 6, 2022. Moreover, the unified featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano will face Brenda Carabajal at the same venue.
