However, Greg Daniels’ science fiction gave a brief reference to the social media personality, Jake Paul, in season 2 that has created a pretty intense hype. As soon as it broke out that the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul is part of comedy-drama, all fans were curious to know more about it.

The renowned tv series maker Greg Daniels is back years after gripping the spectators with the first season of ‘Upload’ on the prime platform. The Emmy-winning creator set the comedy-drama in the future in the year 2033.

It revolved around the theme that in the future, people could upload their consciousness to a luxurious digital afterlife. The first season ended on the note that Nathan, the protagonist of the TV drama, got uploaded to a virtual resort where he met the down-to-earth Nora. She helped him in finding friendship, love, and purpose.

In season 2 of futuristic satire, customer service ‘angel’ Nora had gone off the grid. She left Nathan behind in Lakeview and was involved with the anti-tech rebel group, The Ludds. However, for Nathan, it became awkward in a virtual resort to stay in with his ex, Ingrid, who’s unexpectedly uploaded for him.

It was in the fourth episode of season 2, Nora, the customer service mentioned the name of undefeated Ohio boxer, Jake Paul. He came into the hilarious reference when Nora finds herself alone for a minute and attempted to save the original body.

Prior to this, Nora had taken a firm stand of not involving in sabotaging the regenerated bodies of the elites.

However, when she found that the body belonged to the 25-year-old star, she immediately changed her mind and left ‘The Problem Child’s new body to die.

Fans react to Jake Paul’s reference

As soon as it surfaced on social media platforms, that ‘The Problem child’ is referred to in the hit comedy-drama, fans took to Twitter and dropped their mixed reactions.

Another Twitter user was of the same opinion that the web series in the context of Jake Paul was hilarious.
