Canelo Alvarez came, saw, and conquered. The Mexican champ proved to the world that literally nobody else in the sport deserves to be the p4p king. With an 11th round knockout of former IBF titlist Caleb Plant, Alvarez has now solidified his position in the sport as an all-time greatest.
Now, he is boxing’s sixth-ever undisputed champion and the king of 4 weight classes. And, Canelo is far from done; he says that he wants to fight for another seven years. Only time will tell who really has what it takes to dethrone Saul Alvarez; however, as of now, he has a couple of options lined up across middleweight, super-middleweight, and even light-heavyweight.
